About This Position
Professor Li Wei's computational biology group at the NUS Cancer Science Institute is looking for a motivated PhD student or Research Fellow to work on cancer genomics and single-cell analysis. Singapore has invested heavily in biomedical research and is home to the Biopolis research cluster, one of Asia's premier biomedical research districts. The research will involve developing computational methods for analyzing large-scale single-cell RNA sequencing data from cancer patient cohorts, identifying tumor microenvironment signatures, and developing predictive models for therapy response. You will work with clinical collaborators at the National University Hospital Singapore and have access to patient genomic datasets. The position offers competitive NUS research scholar remuneration (SGD 2,700/month for PhD students), tuition subsidies, and health insurance.
