The Finnish Government Scholarship Pool supports visiting researchers and PhD students from selected countries to undertake short research stays of 3 to 12 months at Finnish universities and research institutions. The scholarships are awarded by the Finnish National Agency for Education. Finland is consistently ranked as one of the best countries in the world for education and innovation. Finnish universities including the University of Helsinki, Aalto University, and the University of Turku offer world-class research environments with no tuition fees. The scholarship provides a monthly stipend, subsidized accommodation, and travel costs. Priority is given to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the natural sciences, technology, social sciences, and humanities. Applications are submitted through the official Finnish National Agency portal.
